Our experience began in Skopje, the vibrant capital city where history and modern life blend seamlessly. Here, we visited the impressive Macedonia Square, the heart of the city and one of its most recognizable landmarks. Surrounded by grand statues, fountains, and lively streets, the square offered the perfect introduction to Skopje’s dynamic atmosphere and national identity. It was a moment where the group could truly feel the pulse of the capital.
From Skopje, our journey continued toward Tetovo, a city known for its rich cultural diversity and unique architectural heritage. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the stunning Šarena Džamija (Painted Mosque). Famous for its extraordinary painted façade and intricate interior decorations, the mosque stands as one of the most remarkable cultural treasures in North Macedonia. The group was fascinated by the craftsmanship, colors, and historical significance that make this site so special.
